Noriko Ogawa

Noriko Ogawa has achieved considerable renown throughout the world since her success at the 1987 Leeds　International Piano Competition. She appears with all the major European, Japanese and US orchestras. She is also renowned as a recitalist and chamber musician.
Ogawa is an exclusive recording artist for BIS Records. She concluded a complete series of Debussy recordings which has won considerable critical acclaim.
Ogawa has received the Japanese Ministry of Education's Art Prize in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the global cultural profile of Japan. Since 2004 Ogawa has acted as artistic advisor for the MUZA Kawasaki Symphony Hall.
