We respectfully inform our audience of March 2020 subscription concert postponement:
In accordance with the request of the national government, the planned subscription concerts in March of Smetana’s My Country with Maestro Mikhail Pletnev, an artist with rare gifts, must be postponed. However, we are pleased to reschedule the concerts in August with the same conductor & the same program. We apologize for having taken time for this, and we hope that you will enjoy this precious opportunity.

To all our music lovers who were looking forward to Smetana’s Ma Vlast:
I had been anticipating our March performances with the Tokyo Phil for so long, but now we must cancel them due to precautions against the coronavirus. I sincerely hope this worldwide situation will end soon. However, as there is much joy even in anticipation, I am glad to continue looking forward with Tokyo Phil to this August, when we will perform this great music for you. Please do look forward with me to the August performance of Smetana’s Ma Vlast!
